Consisting of just 2 members, Alison Moyet and Vince Clarke, Yazoo’s time in pop history was brief but impactive. Combining smooth gospel like vocal stylings with instantly catchy electro-pop melodies, the duo hit the top of the charts and became international pop stars almost overnight. Sadly after just 2 albums the duo split with Alison heading into a hugely successful solo career and Vince forming the legendary Erasure with Andy Bell. They briefly reunited in 2008 to perform a small tour of the USA and Europe and released a live album of the tour in 2010. This very special mechamix brings together just a small handful of their biggest hits showcasing the influence they still have over modern pop music.
